You don't need a GP referral to book with Norwest Wellbeing. We're open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with street and council car park parking available nearby. We require 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a session, and adults are welcome to bring a support person to their initial intake.

Below are the questions we're asked most often about booking, attending, and rescheduling appointments at our Norwest clinic.

Booking & Clinic FAQs

A: No. You do not need a GP referral or a Mental Health Care Plan to book with us. As clinical hypnotherapists, we are primary contact practitioners. You can book your appointment directly via our website or by phone.
A: Yes. There is street parking available nearby, as well as free parking in the Hills Council car park. If you prefer secure parking, paid parking is available at the hotel opposite the Nexus building.
A: No. We operate Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. We believe that self-care isn't selfish—it is essential. To provide you with the highest quality clinical care and focus during your session, our practitioners take weekends off to rest and recuperate.
A: For children and teens (under 16), a parent or guardian is required to attend the initial consultation. For adults, we generally recommend attending sessions alone to ensure you can speak freely and focus deeply, but you are welcome to bring a support person for the initial intake if it helps you feel more comfortable.
A: We respect your time and ours. We require 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Please note that no-shows, or cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled session time, may incur a $150 non-attendance fee.
