Zoom vs in-clinic sessions: what is the difference?

Zoom and in-clinic hypnotherapy sessions at Norwest Wellbeing use the same practitioners, techniques and durations: the differences are where you sit, when you pay, and how far you live from the clinic.

Last reviewed 20 July 2026

Zoom and in-clinic sessions at Norwest Wellbeing are the same clinical appointment delivered two ways. You see the same practitioners (Paul or Rebecca Smith), receive the same techniques, and sessions run the same durations: an initial consultation up to 90 minutes and returning consultations up to 60 minutes. The practical differences are payment timing, travel, and where you can book from.

What is identical

Both formats are booked through the same page at /appointments, and both are followed by the same intake form and confirmation email.

How the 30 km rule decides your options

When you book, you enter your postcode. If you live within 30 km of the Norwest clinic you can choose either format. Beyond 30 km, sessions are delivered by Zoom only. Available Australia-wide. See in-clinic availability and the 30 km rule for detail.

Which should you choose?

Choose in-clinic if you are local and prefer a dedicated space away from home. Choose Zoom if travel is difficult, you live outside the 30 km radius, or you simply prefer working from your own comfortable chair.
