How much does a hypnotherapy session cost?
Initial consultations (up to 90 minutes) and returning consultations (up to 60 minutes) are both $300, with a free 15-minute callback available before you book.

A standard hypnotherapy session at Norwest Wellbeing costs $300, whether it is your first visit or a returning consultation. Your initial consultation runs up to 90 minutes and includes an audio recording of the trance part of the session; returning consultations run up to 60 minutes. All prices are in Australian dollars.

How payment works
For in-clinic appointments you pay a $50 deposit online by card when you book, and the remainder at your appointment by credit card or cash. Zoom appointments are paid in full online at booking. Full details are in Deposits and payments.
Fees are non-negotiable as part of informed consent. A sliding scale is available with proof of income. Phone (02) 8069 9777 to discuss.
Medicare does not cover clinical hypnotherapy, but many private health funds pay rebates under Extras cover. Check your fund at /health-funds.

Q: Why is the first session the same price as later sessions? A: Our fee reflects the personalised care and clinical hypnotherapy provided in each consultation, rather than the time spent in the room. Your initial consultation allows up to 90 minutes to explore your needs, establish clear goals and begin your personalised hypnotherapy. It also includes an audio recording of the trance portion for you to use between sessions. Return consultations are up to 60 minutes and focus on reviewing your progress, addressing changes and tailoring the hypnotherapy to your next steps. Each consultation is $300.
