Booking on behalf of someone else
You can book for another person (anyone under 16 must be booked by a parent or guardian) and the intake form is sent separately to the person attending.

Yes, you can book an appointment for someone else at /appointments or by phoning (02) 8069 9777. Clients under 16 must be booked by a parent or guardian, and under-18s need parent or guardian consent. When the person booking isn't the person attending, the intake form is sent separately to the client.
Booking for a child or teenager
Use the dedicated child/teen flow at /appointments. It's the option for booking a child or teenager under 18. For appointment and intake purposes, a child is 0–12 and a teen is 13–18; the age-appropriate practitioner and intake form are applied automatically. In-clinic child and pre-teen sessions are available for ages 5–12 at $300. Paul Smith leads paediatric hypnotherapy, and a parent completes the intake form for a child. Full detail is in Booking for a child or teen and Ages and consent.
Booking for another adult
You can complete the booking and pay the deposit on an adult's behalf. Because the intake form helps the practitioner prepare and contains personal health information, it's skipped during your booking and sent separately to the person attending, so they can complete it themselves. Hypnotherapy works best when the client is personally motivated, so it's worth confirming they genuinely want to attend before you book.
Payment and management
You pay at booking as usual: a $50 deposit for in-clinic or the full fee for Zoom (see Deposits and payments). Keep in mind that rescheduling online is verified by SMS to the mobile number used at booking, so if that's your number, changes go through you.
Common questions
Q: Can my 17-year-old book their own appointment? A: Clients under 16 must be booked by a parent or guardian, and services are generally for ages 16+ on their own. However anyone under 18 needs parent or guardian consent. When in doubt, book through the teen flow.
Q: Will I see the other person's intake answers? A: No. The intake form goes separately to the client (for a child, the parent completes it). See Intake forms explained.
Q: Can I buy a session as a gift instead? A: Gift vouchers are a better fit for gifts. See How to redeem a gift voucher.
